The Theory Of Everything.

Last Weekend I took a trip to the cinema to go see The Theory Of Everything, which is the story of the most brilliant and celebrated physicist of our time, Stephen Hawking and Jane Wilde. I knew that I wanted to see it as soon as I saw the trailer online and that the leading actor was Eddie Redmayne. I honestly don't know where to start with this film, I absolutely loved it. I was a tad worried at first that it was going to be sciency and hard to understand but that was not the case, it's more about the love of his life, his condition, his children and obviously his theories of space and time (which are not difficult to understand!) . But, when i watched this film which brought me to tears and also made me laugh, I grew lots of respect and a whole new understanding for Stephen Hawking and the outlook he has on life, which is to always be positive, do what you love and have a laugh. Eddie Redmayne also did an incredible job on being Stephen, he really captured everything so perfectly and exceeded all expectations. Overall, I found this film hugely inspiring and incredibly moving and I can't wait to watch it over and over when it comes out on DVD.

Interior Inspiration

I love going on Tumblr and coming across different room settings and designs from all over the world. I'm loving the minimalist/natural/neutral style of spaces and these images are like a breath of fresh air, as they are so light and airy but designed to a high spec. Anyway, I thought I would do a little post on some interior inspiration and give you an insight to what i'm loving.

My favourite vintage dress.

This is my first real fashion post, and I thought it would be dedicated to my favourite vintage dress. I am also featured in this images for the first time...aahh! This dress is beautiful, I picked it up in the South of France with my family and it is literally the best thing I have ever bought. The print is a mixture of animals and men hunting in the rainforest, but the colours are really the thing that stand out for me. I also love the length and style of this dress, as you can dress it up or down depending on what you want. I paired my dress with all black Birkenstocks and some old Raybans that have been passed down my family to me. This outfit is so easy as i'm simply wearing a summer dress with Birkenstocks and some Raybans- but it just looks effortless and striking as the dress does all the work, and in this case less is more.

You can create this look with any summer dress but I do think the print and colours are the things that stand out. I also have very long hair so I just love to put my hair into a bun, to keep it out of the way as it shows off the dress more and just overall ties is all together. I love this look and I can't wait to wear it again in the summer (Only just a feeww months away)!

Is it possible to be in love with a phone case?

Because I am. I was a very lucky girl this christmas and my sister got me this life changing phone case...okay, okay I swear it is life changing. It's the 2014 MOSHINO Barbie collection and is a dressing table mirror - the mirror actually comes in handy! I've been looking at this case a lot recently online and I couldn't justify spending that much, but I was SO pleased that my sister gave it to me as a gift! This case is quite girly (very) but I just love it, it has so much detail and is really the perfect accessory to any girls phone. 

It also matches in perfectly with my desk as when its turned over with just the mirror showing, it really doesn't look like a phone case at all. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but it really is unusual and need i say more? AMAAZZIINNGG. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and a Happy New Year!

An American Breakfast.

This post includes lots of pancakes, bacon, blueberry compote and maple syrup. Lets just say, that when Americans do breakfast, they do breakfast. I enjoyed my breakfast's in New York so much that I took images of them all but this one was probably my favourite. I love pancakes a lot. I love blueberry compote a lot. So putting them together made an amazing blueberry buttery pancake heaven - it was amazing. I also put lashings of maple syrup on my pancakes which was also heavenly also not forgetting a cup of Earl Grey tea being British right? Overall I had an amazing American pancake experience. I feel like I haven't said pancake enough so i'll say it a couple more times pancake pancake pancake pancake pancake pancake pancake.

This post is a little random but i thought that as i was thinking about this breakfast so much today, i'll dedicate my blog post to my pancake feast.

Shoe Inspiration!

Lately i have been sneaking around websites finding lots of lovely winter shoes that i fancy...
