Vintage Chanel for my 17th

Hiiiiiiii,

So I've not been active on here for quite a while (I apologise.) However, Im back with a BANG! (or bag, actually!) While I've been away I turned 17! I got so many lovely things from my family and friends, which Im obsessed with and currently swooning over them. Anyhow, when I was in bed surrounded by my presents, I started opening the present from my mother and little did I know that it was going to be a CHANEL bag! I was SO shocked I nearly wept right there and then, and I just couldn't believe it. After gawping at it for minutes not quite understanding what was going on, my mother proceeded with telling me it was a vintage find she purchased in the South Of France, as she is an antique dealer. The thing that caught my eye immediately was the big tassel, and the gold CC baubles. Its just such a timeless piece and I cannot wait to wear it out and about, and match it with my outfits! It is the perfect model for me as it has a long chain which makes it so easy to wear and not forgetting that its black. I love it so, so much and am incredibly lucky to have one!

I have also decided that I'm going to try my hardest on being consistent on here and write a post once a week. And lastly, here is another picture featuring my bag on a trip to London. Gaaah!

Mini Skirts

Hey y'all!
I have a selection of my favourite mini skirts picked from Topshop, American Apparel and Zara and it seems, that every time I go on these sites I'm always gravitating towards skirts. At this time of the year, I sometimes find it hard to think of what to wear which both looks good and is easy. Mini Skirts are the solution! They really add depth to your outfit and are such a good way of getting some colour in. I also love large pockets on skirts, they just add a good bit of shape and quirk to the piece which is what Topshop have been sporting (number 5 & 2). I have also sneaked in American Apparel's pleated skirt, this skirt is so effortlessly cool but also dosen't try too hard either. A huge plus side is that goes with everrrything. I have also put in a leopard skirt, this baby is from Topshop and boy! Have Topshop done it again? This one is great for dressing up or down and in my opinion very versatile. Leather (faux) is also making an appearance, this is one of my favourites because I haven't seen this colour of leather around a lot and I think it again looks effortlessly chic with a large coat and some boots. So basically, Im loving every kind of mini skirt there is going!

My favourite vintage dress.

This is my first real fashion post, and I thought it would be dedicated to my favourite vintage dress. I am also featured in this images for the first time...aahh! This dress is beautiful, I picked it up in the South of France with my family and it is literally the best thing I have ever bought. The print is a mixture of animals and men hunting in the rainforest, but the colours are really the thing that stand out for me. I also love the length and style of this dress, as you can dress it up or down depending on what you want. I paired my dress with all black Birkenstocks and some old Raybans that have been passed down my family to me. This outfit is so easy as i'm simply wearing a summer dress with Birkenstocks and some Raybans- but it just looks effortless and striking as the dress does all the work, and in this case less is more.

You can create this look with any summer dress but I do think the print and colours are the things that stand out. I also have very long hair so I just love to put my hair into a bun, to keep it out of the way as it shows off the dress more and just overall ties is all together. I love this look and I can't wait to wear it again in the summer (Only just a feeww months away)!

love y'all
