Mini Skirts

Hey y'all!
I have a selection of my favourite mini skirts picked from Topshop, American Apparel and Zara and it seems, that every time I go on these sites I'm always gravitating towards skirts. At this time of the year, I sometimes find it hard to think of what to wear which both looks good and is easy. Mini Skirts are the solution! They really add depth to your outfit and are such a good way of getting some colour in. I also love large pockets on skirts, they just add a good bit of shape and quirk to the piece which is what Topshop have been sporting (number 5 & 2). I have also sneaked in American Apparel's pleated skirt, this skirt is so effortlessly cool but also dosen't try too hard either. A huge plus side is that goes with everrrything. I have also put in a leopard skirt, this baby is from Topshop and boy! Have Topshop done it again? This one is great for dressing up or down and in my opinion very versatile. Leather (faux) is also making an appearance, this is one of my favourites because I haven't seen this colour of leather around a lot and I think it again looks effortlessly chic with a large coat and some boots. So basically, Im loving every kind of mini skirt there is going!

Favourite bits and pieces in January.

Hello, hello, hello!
Im back to my blog after not being on here for a while, but I'm starting off with my favourite bits and pieces in January. Recently, I've got back into perfume and this month I've been loving Miss Dior, which is the perfect girly yet sophisticated scent and what can i say? I have been wearing it everyday and it's been fitting my mood just right. I have also been wearing my Olivia Burton Watch with the gold dial and khaki green strap, this has definitely been a favourite. I just love the big dial and that fact that its so plain, I don't like too much going on when I have a watch!! Going onto nails, I have been wearing Chanel-Blue Boy which is a really dreamy blue, just what I need to call some blue skies in England! Also there's always something special about wearing Chanel nail polish, for a starters the packaging is gahh! Finally, I'm preeety late on this one, but I have started wearing midi-rings, these particular ones are from Orelia (I can't find them on the website!) I just love the way they look as a whole collection, really pretty and delicate!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone!

Is it possible to be in love with a phone case?

Because I am. I was a very lucky girl this christmas and my sister got me this life changing phone case...okay, okay I swear it is life changing. It's the 2014 MOSHINO Barbie collection and is a dressing table mirror - the mirror actually comes in handy! I've been looking at this case a lot recently online and I couldn't justify spending that much, but I was SO pleased that my sister gave it to me as a gift! This case is quite girly (very) but I just love it, it has so much detail and is really the perfect accessory to any girls phone.

It also matches in perfectly with my desk as when its turned over with just the mirror showing, it really doesn't look like a phone case at all. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but it really is unusual and need i say more? AMAAZZIINNGG. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette.

I went to New York recently and i placed my hands on a very special palette. The Naked 2 Basics Palette. I think this palette is relatively new..but from owning this palette a few weeks this palette is definitely a favourite of mine, Its just so perfect! All the shades are brown and beige tones all being matte except one (SKIMP) which has a slight shimmer but is still very neutral. This palette is SO handy and easy as all the colours blend together really well and even look strong by themselves. I used the two middle shades for my first eye look, using FRISK on my lid and COVER on my crease. I really loved how it looked as it tied in with my winter outfit really well. This palette is also so handy as the colours tie in with any outfit, and makes your whole outfit look very put together and sophisticated. So literally, everyone should go buy this palette as it is an amazing piece to any collection and is also a great Christmas gift!
